Gynecology treats some of the most common gynaecological problems, such as:

You and your gynaecologist can usually work together to figure out what’s wrong with the area you’re having problems with. You may also need to see your gynaecologist for a physical exam, though.

If you want to get a physical exam, you have to lie down on the exam table with your knees bent and both legs in the stirrups at the base. Then your doctor examines your pelvic area while wearing gloves that are sterile and lubricated, and he or she uses special medical tools to do it.

In some cases, your doctor might also ask you to take a few diagnostic tests to make sure you have the condition that your doctor says you do.

Tests a doctor might suggest for you are based on your symptoms and problem areas, even though they might not be necessary. Some of the tests are:-

3. Gynecologist: A doctor who focuses on urinary tract and pelvic floor issues.
